The British Ballet Organization (BBO)

“The British Ballet Organization (BBO) is recognized worldwide as one of the most prestigious Ballet examining societies. It provides support and encouragement to dance students of all ages, experience and abilities. The syllabus has specially composed music and develops artistic, physical and expressive qualities.

The BBO advocates ‘dance for all’. It believes there should be an opportunity for all those interested in acquiring dance skills to participate in well devised, safe and developmental programme of dance study, and to recognize their progress and achievement through taking examinations.

The BBO provides an examination syllabus in Classical Ballet which has been designed to accommodate a wide variety of candidates of different ages, experience and levels of achievement.”
